United States Court of Justice Senate councils and a Senate business committee – Bob Menendez of the Democrats and Mark Warner, as well as Republicans Jim Risch and Marco Rubio – are deepening the conflict between Washington and Moscow diplomatic missions.
In August, Russia banned the U.S. operation in Moscow from hiring, hiring, or obtaining permits from Russian or foreign workers in addition to the police and forced them to lay off 126 workers.
This means only 100 Russian diplomats compared to 400 Russian diplomats in the United States.
“Manassas does not accept this inequality. Therefore, visas must be sufficient for Russia to ensure a balance between the number of U.S. diplomats working in Russia and the number of Russian priests working in the United States.”
If Moscow does not do so, they say, Biden will have to arrest 300 Russians.
The White House and the State Department did not respond immediately to the request for comment.
